Forum Valignano 2015–2024

Art Valley launched an extensive mission in the MENA (Middle East-North Africa) region, dedicated to culture, intellect, and contemporary themes such as intelligent technologies, new design and materials, and emerging business sectors, aiming to create an experiential crossroads. In this area (Gulf-Med, MENA Region), a transformation is occurring among the Arabic-speaking countries.

Rather than a confrontation—the “Clash of Civilizations” as theorized by Huntington, or the globalization imposed by Fukuyama in “The End of History”—the prospect is of unprecedented integration, blending diverse profiles. This diplomatic and cultural battle has involved universities, foundations, academies, minorities, clubs, and cultural movements from the Arab League countries, fostering an effective plan of experiential exchange. From these Arab countries come innovative messages, cultural processes, and scientific research: genuine contributions to civilization.

In the context of exchange between Qatar and Italy, Art Valley launched a mission in Qatar, recognizing its significance as a crucial hub among Arab nations, especially in the Gulf area. In Qatar, we are promoting a mission dedicated to the linguistic and cultural comparison and pragmatic meeting between Arabic culture and the Milan Renaissance Civil Laboratory of the 16th and 17th centuries, where the genius of Leonardo da Vinci thrived.

The focus was on Japan and China, promoting specific historical and geopolitical aspects of Alessandro Valignano’s activities to highlight the value of his work both in Italy and globally. This project facilitated exchanges between Japan, China, and Italy, providing valuable intellectual and business resources to support interchanges between these countries. It involved referenced studies on the Renaissance, profiling the functions and missions towards Asia that have been active since the Renaissance and continue to influence modern methods and exchanges. This initiative produced content, advice, and training for operators, enabling the start-up of new projects, actions, and business representative agencies.
