Four days of film, performance, poetry, music, photography, and discussion. A festival of meetings and ideas, of juxtapositions and surprises, and much more. Watch films by emerging and established talent. Enjoy a different sort of Literary Walk, take part in one of the festival’s Tea and Supper Clubs, contribute to the Festival Magazine, participate in a workshop.
The Festival is competitive. Awards are available for film and prose: Best Feature (fiction), Best Feature (documentary), Best Short (fiction), Best Short (documentary), Best Experimental Film, Best Young Filmmaker (under 24 years old). Best Poem, Short Story, Flash Fiction and Essay.
The deadline for submissions is 20 January 2015 (Early-Bird deadline 1 December 2014). To be eligible films must have been produced after 1 May 2013. All subject matter is considered.
The full programme of word and image will be revealed in 2015. Over the coming weeks further announcements will be made about festival highlights, star turns, and other events.
