On April 4, in the Aula Rogers, the Politecnico di Milano hosts a conference on new trends in landscape architecture.
After an introduction by Professor Gabriel Pasqui, director of the Department of Architecture and Urban Studies at the Politecnico di Milano (DAStU), green entrepreneur Giorgio Peverelli introduces architect Stefano Boeri’s project for the Garibaldi — Porta Nuova area in Milan.
Following is a roundtable discussion on the profession of landscape architect, which will include some of the directors of Milan’s most important landscape architecture firms.
Professor Maurizio Boriani of the Politecnico di Milano then presents the opportunity offered by the Masters program in garden and landscape planning and conservation.
At the conclusion of the morning is a presentation of examples regarding occasions and opportunities for green design relative to real estate development in the Mediterranean and in the East, which involves the participation of international representatives, coordinated by professor Alberto Cavicchiolo.
